The chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr Chidi Lloyd on Tuesday received in courtesy and audience the acting vice chancellor of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Prof Okey Onuchuku at his home in Akpabu, Emohua LGA, Rivers State.
The vice chancellor and other members of the management team of the university visited Dr. Lloyd to familiarize with the council chairman and seek possible collaboration with the local government council, with a view to reactivating the satellite campus of the institution in Rundele in Emohua local government area.
Dr. Lloyd congratulated Prof. Onuchuku on his well deserved appointment as the acting vice chancellor of the university, while appreciating the Governor of Rivers State, H.E Nyesom, for the appointment of the Emohua born professor of Economics.
The council chairman while applauding the vice chancellor on his laudable programs within few months in the university, promised to partner with the management of the institution to ensure that the university’s satellite campus in Rundele in Emohua local government area is fully reactivate.
